Bio 1

BIOGRAPHY

Emmanuel Jacob was born in Greece
in 1983. Having a father where in 60s
& 70s had a pirate radio station,
music was a big chapter in Emmanuel's
life from the earliest years.

Although music was the main thing for
Emmanuel, as a teenager had another
impact and that was astrophysics.
When he realized that astrophysics was
a big mountain of information to climb on,
he decided to let the "Cosmos" be his
inspiration in music composition.

After 7 years of music studies, he understood
that music and astrophysics have something
very in common: MATH.
Harmonies, fractions, time spaces, frequencies.
dynamics, pulses, pauses, beats per minute.

BIOGRAPHY

At the age of 14 starts to compose and
orchestrate his music with the help of a
dual cassette recorder. A year later,
recording and mixing processes migrated
to his first Personal Computer with the help
of shareware & freeware software that
came along as inserts with the magazines
of Music & Technology.

Almost a decade later, he decides to participate
to a local short film festival as a composer - in a
9 minutes long film and earns a nomination for it,
though, he was not fully confident about his work.
It took 4 more years of preparation to expose his
work in the markets of Royalty Free Music Libraries.

5 years in the market of professional composing
for media, grant him the needed experience and
professionalism the industry needs, without sacrificing
creativity and artistic clarity.
Along with his partner in life - Anastasia, he continues
chasing his dreams in music and their dreams in life.
